Job Description

About Retail Lending:

The Collection & Underwriting department focuses on the collection of the bank’s various loan products like Home Loans, Car Loans, and Personal Loans among others. While Underwriting department focuses on risk mitigation towards the loan offered to the customers, the department is key for the Loans business vertical as it is responsible for controlling & ensuring timely EMI collection & maintaining risk of the business.


About the Role:

The Collections Manager handles the Risk-60 portfolio for Rural Lending Loans. The Collections Manager ensures NPA resolution and manages the portfolio as per the existing process. The Collections Manager also ensures compliance with the audit procedures of the bank

Key Responsibilities

·         Ensure maximum release from the NPA pool by achieving the required resolution target as per the business requirement

·         Ensure minimum addition to the NPA pool by keeping the portfolio in check by maintaining the delinquency level

·         Ensure adherence to the set process and audit requirements in place


Optimal qualification for success on the job is:

·         Graduation/ Post-Graduation from a recognized institute

·         Knowledge and understanding of Collection and Market Dynamics

·         Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms

·         Should possess operational and system knowledge

·         Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language

·         Ability to manage complex client situations

·         Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team within a dynamic priority-setting environment

·         Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
